In this position, she reports directly to Suzanne Cameron and provides day-to-day staff support, client concierge services, and client-facing outreach, ensuring a seamless and elevated experience for both internal teams and valued clients.
Elizabeth’s professional foundation is rooted in entrepreneurship and the arts. She is the founder of the EM Vanover Piano and Performing Arts School, where she built and led a successful institution dedicated to musical excellence and education. Under her leadership, the school flourished, serving students and families with distinction before she thoughtfully transitioned ownership, reflecting her ability to build enduring organizations and steward them responsibly through change.
An accomplished concert pianist from early childhood through the present day, Elizabeth’s training in music instilled a lifelong discipline, precision, and creative intelligence that continues to inform her work. Though she no longer performs extensively in the public arena, her musical and mathematical mind has proven invaluable in organizational problem-solving, client service, and operational support.
Elizabeth later formalized her analytical strengths through academic study, earning a Finance major in 2024 from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. Her education complements her real-world experience, reinforcing a strong understanding of structure, detail, and financial principles that align naturally with Oak Street’s mission and standards.
A native of Diboll, Texas, Elizabeth met her husband and lifelong partner, Jeffrey Vanover, in childhood. While Jeffrey attended Rice University as a student athlete, Elizabeth studied at the University of St. Thomas in Houston’s Montrose neighborhood, balancing academic pursuits with her growing entrepreneurial and artistic endeavors. Together, they share their beloved son, Orion Vanover, and a deep commitment to family, community, and excellence.
Elizabeth’s return to the professional sphere reflects both her readiness and her passion for contributing at a high level after dedicating many years to raising a family while supporting the founding and growth of Oak Street Capital Management.
